Carolina Simental Ms. Lehmann 20 March 2019 As You Like It
I did not get to watch the play As You Like It. Instead, I read about it. My teacher told me to rewrite it my way. My setting will be forina big house. Mycostumes will be simple. The time it will be set in is 2002. I have chosen these three ideas forreasons, so I will tell youadout them in the upcoming paragraphs. This is my rewrite of As You Like It.My setting is going to be in two big houses. House one has a grand entrance everything would wow you. The house is too big to explore. They have lived there for 2 years and have not had the chance to explore. House two is a normal Mansion with servants and maids and butlers. The house décor is very modern and has a square feel to it. The reason I chose the house to be that way is that in one house I will have people get lost and in the other house I will have people dress up as maids. My costumes will be very simple. Celia will wear dresses with paderns every day. Rosalindwill wear cut jeans and a shirt every day. Orlando and Oliver will be wearing suits. The Reason I chose these customs was because I like this type of wardrobe. My time will be 2002. My place will be in California. Thereason I chose 2002 for the time is because I was born that year, and I just like that number. The reason I chose California as the place. Is that I have seen that has a ton of mansions. In the end of my play, it has a 50% chance that people won’t like it.Most people don’t like my work. But I like my work, I would be proud to do this play. The reason I typed this paper was to set the play As You Like It the way I want.
